SITPWG Ticket for sale-3/29 Matinee

Hello! I have an extra ticket for Sunday in the Park With George for this Wednesdays matinee (3/29 at 2pm.) My friend and I got tickets a while ago but she just found out she won't be able to go anymore so I'm selling her ticket. We bought the tickets the first day they went on sale, so our seats and the price we paid are pretty excellent. We're in Orchestra (center) Row C Seats 112 and 113. I will still be using my ticket, so this is just for a single. (I feel the need to preface that I'm a 28 year old male teacher who is very normal...just in case you were worried about sitting with a stranger.)

We paid $165 each with service and processing fees. This was a great deal because the same section is now being sold for $299 and even $399 for some performances. It's not my primary goal to sell for a big profit, however, a little extra money would be nice(my teacher salary isn't exactly the best, haha) so I'm willing to sell the ticket for face value or best higher offer. No offers below face value please. I have the ticket listed on Stubhub now for $225, but will take it down if someone gives a good offer. Please PM me and I'll reply as soon as possible. I'm flying into NYC tonight from Denver, so it may take some time to return the messages. Cash or venmo will be fine when we meet and I don't expect anyone to pay before actually meeting.

I hope you get someone! If anything, try going to the box office on Wednesday morning at 10am. I bet you someone near the end of the rush line who missed out on getting those $49 tix will be THRILLED to get a 3rd row seat for $165. Just an idea. Ok so maybe not all of them would want to pay $165 but I'd think at least one would.

I would have taken you up on that offer if it was evening (got to work during the day to pay for htese theater tix!) Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I will keep it up for the next day or so and then I might try my luck at the cancellation line per the suggestion. I might have to rethink the 'face value' piece, but it's already such a steal compared to the prices now so hopefully I'll at least break even. Here's hoping!

That was actually my same thought! I only made $20 profit because I lowered my price so champagne would be the perfect way to spend it! Thanks! ??
