It's a really, really fun score. The songs are very catchy and the music really sticks in your head. I've been singing some of the songs under my breath ever since I saw it Tuesday night.
I'm very happy those posters of Andy are going to be sold, haha. That's all I'm saying.

It doesn't really seem like a Broadway style show, but I hope it transfers somewhere (Dodger Stages seems like a perfect venue) for an open run!

So I finally got a free night to see this, how FUN is it? I was pretty excited for it (obviously), and I was not disappointed. The music is catchy, the lyrics are hilarious, and all of the characters make it a really entertaining show. While the leads are great, I was so impressed with the ensemble of this show! Kevin Pariseau especially caught my attention, how funny. Loved the Dan/Delia storyline, and also liked the arch that Adam (wonderfully and attractively played by Andy Karl) made. It's funny, because the premise of the show is kind of ridiculous, but it all comes together to work. Fresh and funny, I hope it fares well!

A friend working on the show (tech side) says the ATA is a sh*thole. But they fixed their A/C problem (now that it's fall!)

Posted: 9/30/05 at 12:35amYeah, there's kind of a wind tunnel going on on the right side of the house to keep it cooler in there. Which I think I'd rather than sweating through the two hours, even with the blast of cool air, it was still pretty warm on the other side of the house.

Posted: 9/30/05 at 1:37pmYeah, my show was one of the ones cancelled, but I'm going on Sunday (oddly with the same first row seats), and I CAN'T WAIT. I've been staying away from everything that could spoil me, and it's kind of killing me right now.

JBSinger, they're these black boxer-brief like things...they're loose, and cut a little shorter than regular boxer briefs.
He's now only in his underwear for a short amount of time in one scene...the opening number, in which he was in his underwaer for most of the song, now has him starting the song already wearing jeans. Word is that it was "too distracting" to have him in his underwear that much. Draw your own conclusions from that. LOL.
