Hahahah no this is Christina Applegate in the sweat suit she gave to everybody in the cast on opening night. But about slut I want to see it, sounds interesting, hahaha, but what is it about? the theater looks tiny and thats all I know.

I has a pretty cool website, www.slutthemusical.com. Hasn't started performances though. I'm sure a few people saw it back in the Fringe a few years ago, though! I'm excited about it, sounds really fun, and an awesome cast!

The show sounds so hilarious. It's a great storyline, backed by a wondeful cast.

I wanna see it sooo badddd ... *whines*

And .. the press shots in and of themselves are really quite funny.

I'm excited about the house it's playing in too, you're practically on stage in ATA, no matter where you sit.

Seriously, if the show is half as entertaining as those press shots, it's going to be good times.

Anyone hear if they're doing a rush or student discount or anything like that?

I'll be going to the first preview this Tuesday night (as I cannot pass up the opportunity to see Andy Karl perform, esp. in a role so, err, different from Luke in Altar Boyz), so I'll be sure to come back here with some sort of review of it.

Girlfriend, I don't know about a regular rush or student discount, but I do know that NYU students can get discount vouchers for $25 tickets for any show AFTER the first preview. I know that doesn't really help if you're not a student at NYU...

They do have a discount via Broadwayoffers, though. The code sl747dm will get you tickets for $35.75, rather than $55.

I'll ask around a bit, see if I can find out about any type of rush.

Apparently they are going to have a rush. Best available for $35, two hours before the show. Not sure if it's exclusively for students or for anyone, the person who mentioned it to me said it's going to be really similar to Bare's rush, which makes sense, same house!

I'm going on the 4th preview, first row, hee...cannot wait to see Andy Karl do this. The rest of the cast is great too. Definitely check out the website.

This show is going to ROCK! What a fantastic cast! Andy Karl's a hottie and David Josefsberg's a cutie pie. Aww yay! I can't wait! :)

Aww, I'm excited that people are amped for this show. The premise sounds entertaining as all hell, the press photos for the show are just delicious (although I wish they would release more than just those NINE on the website, since I know there were a good 300 taken that morning)...the only performers I'm familiar with in the show are Andy and David, so I'm excited to get to see Jenn Colella and Jim Stanek for the first time.

I was unable to attend David's final performance in Altar Boyz last weekend, but I was VERY amused to hear from some friends that he was telling them something along the lines of how they should go see Slut because "Andy Karl is in his underwear alot, and he looks damn good in them."

I agree wholeheartedly with my dear TheGaIsSilent...to say anything more than ITS FANTASTIC would be giving too much away. The show is insanely silly and over the top, and it is just absolute brilliance. How can you not love a show where they sing about Andy Karl's penis? I mean, c'mon now people.

Plus, for those of you out there who are on the shallow end of the spectrum....Andy is in his underwear for most of the first act. And I'm not gonna lie...it's rather nice.
