do we know the outcome? Were ratings high or low? Did ticket sales go up?
I think it's a little hard to tell if ticket went up at this point, but ratings should be in by now. Remember there are more re-airings this weekend!
It will take more than one day to find out what sort of overall impact it will have on the box office.
That Blood in the Water song did it in for me....God if that scene doesn't close the show.
Actually I think it's a pretty good idea to broadcast a show like this. I wish more would do it, so hopefully it got great ratings and then we may see more shows follow.
I actually like the show, and I think the MTV airing made some solid material look like pink Jello.
Jake it is funny... i actually enjoyed Blood in the Water on film as compared to live in the theatre i thought MTV made a blase` musical number look decent
It'll be interesting. As I've said elsewhere, on Saturday there was a girl in front of the Palace who was trying to hand out flyers and at least five people looked at her, laughed, and said something along the lines of "I'm recording it at home on MTV. Why would I want to buy a ticket?"

Legally Blonde did have a substantial box office boost this week. Maybe people trying to see the show live before seeing it on MTV?
