Im not too sure. It was in the book I know that. There's a picture of it in the original copy of the book thats really creepy. I think Elphaba was actually born in the clock in the book. It's one hell of a clock. Im not sure of the details

I don't remember her being born in the clock. Although, I haven't picked up the book in quite awhile because I have been occupied with other things.

Elphaba WAS born in the clock. I remember that for sure.... I just read it. Also a puppet show takes place on the clock during the book... makes sense to stage the musical WICKED on the clock as well... just my thoughts. lol.

Few! I knew I wasnt losing my mind (completely) I had a feeling I remember her being born in it. Thanks lol
