Owen, that idea was introduced in the bus station during a conversation when he was asked about his diagnosis.
Saw it Wednesday matinee from the first row (Playbill discount) next to the "Jock" in the Board scene, purchased the day before the performance. Great seats with that low stage by the way.
Loved it and I'm in my 60's. The only real quibble I had was the bus station announcements which seemed just a bit too "over the top" and not motivated (like talking about cell phones when they weren't using cell phones). But I'll admit they were very funny as was most of the dialogue which was beautifully written. Joanna Gleason is a wonder.
