After having done community theater for five years, I found out today that I finally got cast in my first PROFESSIONAL production! It's "South Pacific" and I'm in the ensemble... But who cares! Professional theater! WOOHOO!!

Congratulations, thats a big step. How old are you, and what did you do for your audition! I'm also in South Pacific....but not a professional production. I'm the professor at our community theater. Congrats

Thanks Broadway_freak! I'm 17 and I've been doing shows since I was 12, but this is my first professional production. I auditioned with "The Kite" from YAGMCB. I just did the show...
<----- as you can see, so I know the song really well. lol. The director is like the top director in the area, so I'm super pumped! Thanks everyone for your kind encouragement!

I'm sure you'll be excellent!! All you have to do is keep on practising and motivating yourself and we'll all be reviewing on BWW someday! You'll have to update me and how it's going and be sure to take lots of pics. Have fun!!
