I always wonder whether or not people see the shows they bash?
Just curious,

Posted: 3/17/05 at 3:11pmIt would be pretty pathetic for anyone to bash a show that they have not seen.

Posted: 3/17/05 at 9:38pmSaw the show last Saturday and it was hysterical. Since I'm a charter Python fan that is understandable. I even saw Monty Python Live at the City Center in the 70s. But my wife knows nothing about the troupe or the film and loved it as well. Curry plays it straight so beautifully and his voice is great. Azaria is enthusiastic and fun. Sieber is wonderfully flexible. If anyone was less than remarkable, it was Pierce who seemed too introverted in some of the numbers. Sara brought down the house, especially with the priceless parody The Song Like This. You don't realize how many roles the boys play, especially Sieber, until later when you study the Playbill. McGrath and Borle are exceptional supporting characters who steal a number of scenes. Hadn't had this much fun in the theater in years.
