Just scored 2 center mezz Row D (Dec 22) (PB1003 disc. code). The site is a pain in the ass, but I believe some decent tix were just put back in their system. Also a lot of rear orch for certain days, but they are mostly (except a coupla Row o, r, and S on the far side aisle - maybe not that good? also PB1003) under the overhang, thus not that desirable. See if you can get lucky.
Yeah, Viola, me and my friend tried for hours tonight to obtain those 2 single tix in the mezz front box, but could not finish the transaction after the security code thingy...the tix were showing up for hours, but actually trying to buy them was impossible. We kept on getting that "Sorry, tix are being transacted by someone else...blah, blah, blah. I don't know what's up with that?? A glitch in their system or what? The orch seats, I'm told that are further than Row R are not that good because of the mezz overhang. That's why so many are still available at the discount. A few friends who saw the "dress" yesterday, say that the mezz is the best location for viewing the flying, stunts, etc.
I've seen others complain about not being able to purchase tix that were showing as discounted and available. Some have said there was no problem obtaining the same seats directly at the box office with the code. (Which of course, doesn't help out of towners.)
Perhaps CALLING to see what can be done would be in order. They can't fix a problem they know nothing about.

I had the same problem trying to buy a single ticket in front orchestra for the end of December, I was only able to get them when I bought the two. So I am thinking they have it programed to sell in twos or more. I want to see it a second time from the flying circle, plan is to go after it opens, I will wait to buy that one at the Box Office.
I've been trying to get some tickets for December 23 using code BBX1016 and I'm running into the same "another fan beat you to it" issue.

I tried to buy 2 discounted tickets for the 16th and it came up with that message as well. I ended up just paying in full because I thought they were going to be snatched up quick!
Tried calling ticketmaster on two different numbers and got a busy signal both times

Finally got through on 800-745-3000 but am on hold waiting for an agent

Okay, it seems the reason we're having this problem is because the seats the website is offering for discount are not actually eligible for discount. I'm still on the phone with them and will let you know how this turns out. This is your basic bait & switch and I won't stand for it.

NOT a bait and switch. If its a computer glitch, its a glitch. I doubt that anyone at Telecharge deliberately made this happen -- which is why you weren't able to buy them.
All discounts have always been for SELECT seats and not all available seats. Sometimes there are just mistakes.

With ticketmaster you are actually shown a map of the theatre and the eligible seats are highlighted. But, in actuality the highlight seats are only available for full price.
When I choose a highlighted seat this is what I see:
"Promotions and Special Offers: PB1003 US $86.50 (US $77.00 Ticket + US $9.50 FeesAdditional TaxesFees/Additional Taxes)"
But when you try to order the seat you get an error message. And according to the people on the phone it's because these seats are not eligible for discount.

After about 40 minutes of being put on hold and being passed from person to person I finally got someone to see that there is an issue with the website. They're going to report it.
So, if you're trying to order tickets and you get the "another fan got them" error it's because those seats are not available for discount

A FEW WORDS TO THE WISE: Don't be surprised when you purchase.
The "fees" are charged very "sneakily" and "hidden" by Ticketmaster. They are not broken out until your receipt for "bought" tix prints out. Simply put, all fees together are:
I have 2 seats for this saturday night. Flying Circle Row G. Can't make the show. I paid $79 + $7.50 each and will sell them at my cost. If anyone is interested PM me.
I just purchased a tix on Monday for full price the following were my charges:
Tickets/ItemsUS $104.50 Order Processing FeeUS $3.50 TicketFast Delivery US $2.50
That's it.
I'd ask to talk to someone....why would there be a discrepency like that?

Not to make waves but Tinymagic Don't you work in the box office? I would think for someone like you it would be easier to get them directly from the box office so you wouldn't be hit with service fees
TKING - I think you may be mistaken.... I do not work at the box office. I worked at Telecharge about 20 yrs. ago, so I'm familiar w/the basic seating software programs. However, I have to buy tix just like everyone else. Oh, and BTW, I went directly to the BO in person 2 hours ago to buy tix for friends. I had 3 dates, preferably Dec 29th, because their site showed quite a few PB1003 codes for really good seats in the FLYING CIRCLE. However, the BO lady claimed they were not available anymore, so I got the exact same tix for DEC 22, mat. Now I'm home, and checked DEC 29th again, and they're STILL there. I believe the BO is being directed by the BO "Mgr." to fill the house with the "closest" dates first. Basically one has to realize that their JOB is to sell the most expensive tix to "suckers". Anyway, the PB1003 thing now extends to the end of DEC. There were ONLY 3 people on line at the BO. I was stunned. If you live out of town, you'll have to pay that addt'l 15.00 in "fees", however, there still are very good seats to be had, DEC 21-30. If you're in town, DEFINaTELY go to the BO (3-4 pm), and save a lot of $$$$$.
I'm sorry, I find it hard to believe that the box office DELIBERATELHY lied to you to sell you similar seats at the same price just one week earlier. Perhaps the computer issue at Ticketmaster still isn't fixed.
According to a press release: they made 1 million bucks in presale since they had the preview. (I'm sure lots of that is due to the 60 Minutes piece.) I'm sure a huge percentage of the overall sales is always from online sales, so I'm not sure how busy ANY box office is except pre show to pick up tickets. (Aside from Rush/lottery and other specials)
