SPRING AWAKENING Cast Recording Reaches No. 3 on Billboard Cast Album Chart#1

The cast recording of the new Broadway musical Spring Awakening hits the Billboard Top Cast Album chart at No. 3. Wicked and Jersey Boys remain in the first and second spots, respectively.

The Decca Broadway release of the Duncan Sheik-Steven Sater musical features the Broadway cast — including Lea Michele, Jonathan Groff, Skylar Astin , Lilli Cooper, John Gallagher Jr., Gideon Glick, Brian Johnson, Lauren Pritchard, Phoebe Strole, Jonathan B. Wright and Remy Zaken — directed by Michael Mayer.
