Sort of on topic...will the show have student rush during previews or does rush only start once the show opens? Because I'd love to go to previews if there's rush...

I can't be there unfortunately on the 16th.. but I'll be there on the 19th! 7pm...
The show already has there student rush policy set so it should be available during previews.
I wish I could WBF. I actually get in mid afternoon on the 17th and I may try to see the 2nd Preview.
I'm really excited to see it as the music just works for me and I really like the play. I look forward to reading your thoughts right before I get on the plane.
I'll be at the third preview on Saturday the 18th at 2pm!

RANDOM QUESTION:
On the website it say Skylar Astin played Javert in the final LES MIS performance, but it says nothing about it on IBDB.
And anyways, isn't he much too young?

I will be attending the Sat 18th matinee with my daughter. TDF seats Orch Row K. We are both excited to see this show. The producers have done a good job in getting the word out. I already have The Bitch of Living stuck in my head.
For anyone who has seen the show or is familiar with the Eugene O'Neill theatre... thoughts on 1st row seating? If choosing between the 1st or 13th row, center orchestra, what would be your choice for this show/theatre?
Definately 1st row. For Sweney I sat in first row and tenth row and in the tenth I had to keep moving my head back ond forth because the people in front of you are in the way since there's not much of a rise in the audience.

Americanboy99--I believe at the final performance of Les Miz on Broadway, they had a performance by a group of teens to showcase the upcoming school version of Les Miserables. Which is how Skylar played Javert in the final performance. He didn't perform in the actual Broadway show.

For your safety and for the safety of the performers, the following procedures must be adhered to by each On-Stage ticket buyer:
Late seating. As a member of the on-stage audience, you must arrive to the theatre early enough to be seated before the performance begins. The doors open thirty (30) minutes prior to the performance time listed on your ticket. If you arrive after the show has begun, you may be asked to stand in the back of the auditorium until the intermission.
Personal Belongings. Since some of the show’s action takes place throughout the seating area, lockers have been provided in the backstage area for the secure storage of your personal items. All large coats, bags, and other personal items must be placed in the lockers prior to the start of the performance in order to keep the seating area and pathways clear. Please limit the number of items you bring to the theatre on the day of the performance.
Playbills. For artistic reasons, you will not receive the complimentary Playbill until the END of the performance.
Restrooms & Concessions. The theater staff is available to assist you to your seats and to provide instruction about how to proceed to the restrooms and concession areas. The performance has one intermission so please plan your trips to the restroom and concession areas accordingly. Food and beverages are not permitted on the stage or at your seat.
View of the performance. These seats offer a side/rear-view of some of the performance. Please note: some aspects of the action may be obstructed.
Camera/Phones/Recording Devices. Please remember to turn off all cell phones prior to the start of the performance. Additionally, the taking of pictures (with or without flash) and the use of recording devices of any kind are strictly prohibited.

I'm thinking about going next Friday night....are the student rush tickets whatever is left in the orchestra (like all the way to the sides?) or do they stick everyone in the back. People, get back about the avaliability if you can of student rush this week, day after Thanksgiving will probably be a butt busy, but I'll go for it anyway.
Do you think it would freak out my friend in the show if I was onstage? I saw it off bway with great center seats and thought it would be really fun to be onstage in the action this time! It might distract him though?
My friend was SOOO pumped after the encores last night....EVERYONE SHOULD GO!

Unless people are booting up and getting ready to post during curtain call, you're looking at at least another half hour to an hour before people start posting thoughts.
