SPRING AWAKENING Seating Help!
#1SPRING AWAKENING Seating Help!
Posted: 3/23/07 at 10:57pm
For my birthday in July, I'm thinking of treating myself to SPRING AWAKENING. Having already seen it at the Atlantic, I wanted to get the on-stage aspect on B'way. I'm curious as to what seat Robert Hager sits in on-stage. The seats I'm offered are AA 4+6. I'm wondering if he sits in AA 2. If anyone can point me in the right direction with this, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

He sits AA 2?
I know it's probably an awkward question to see on here, but he and I are good friends -- I've performed more than few shows with him. (JCS, SIDE SHOW) and I think it'd be super awesome if I got to see him again! Heh!
Cheers,
- Mike

Awh, man.
I haven't bought the tickets yet.
If anyone has the seat location, it'd be splendid to get me in the know!
Best.

Posted: 3/23/07 at 11:36pmI have no idea, but don't ensemble cast members usually sit in the CC row? I know that Gerard does, and i'm pretty sure that Jenn does. Wouldn't that be the same for stage left?

Posted: 3/23/07 at 11:38pmNo, John Gallagher and Jon Wright sit up there at times, but they have two seats for the audience to sit in on the side of the stairs close to the audience on the Odd numbered side.

Posted: 3/27/07 at 7:01pmRobert sits upstage, stage left. I don't think there's anyone beside him, as cast members take those seats in "The Guilty Ones" or "Touch Me" or one of the numbers. There are seats behind him, though. BB12-14 or so are behind him.

Robi sits in between 2 cast members I think, so therefore, no way to sit next to him.
BB12-14 are considered the best seats if you want to be in with the cast members. To your right is the awesome Krysta, and to your left, a lot of times, is Gallagher.
In front is Robi, Stephen (sometimes Christine), and some other cast members that alternate the seats.

I am 99% sure Robi Hager sits in AA12. It's the first seat on that side past (upstage of) the little aisle that runs between the seats. WELL, maybe it's AA14, between 2 ppl., but I'm pretty sure it's AA12, on that little aisle. So the only way to sit next to him is in AA14...but that may be a cast member seat. Or AA10 across the steps from him.
BUT, If you want to see him perform, you may be better off getting seats on the other side (the odd side) of the stage....if you are in the same row as him, you really won't get to see him much...I recommend AA odd numbers, frankly.
Groff sits in AA2.
Robi is a very sweet, talented (and cute) guy.

Yeah, behind him is not a bad idea either...Even in the lower even BB numbers, you should get a good view of him. It helps that he stands up to sing a lot.

Thanks a bunch to EVERYONE who's responded.
I think I'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone here - I have an offer for AA 3+5. That way, I can take 3, watch Rob (have an AMAZING VIEW), and sit next to 'the crush of my life' Lea.
Good idea, eh? Hee!
You guys are wonderful for responding!
Best,

I had the option for AA seats, but I figured it'd be a bit awkward being right up close, even though I love the show.
I opted for BB 1-5.
Anyone have those seats?

I had BB12. I hardly saw anyone's faces, but I did get to sit next to John Gallagher, Jonathan B. Wright, Gideon Glick, Remy Zaken, and Lauren Pritchard. Plus it was a butt seat. And Jonathan Groff sweated on me at one point, that was... interesting. ^_^ I was right behind Robert Hager as well. He kinda blocked a bit of the scene between 'Left Behind' and 'Totally F*cked', but that was the only issue I had. Other than that, I LOVED my seat. :3

Not just awkward...AA can be downright dangerous!! I was in AA13 (cast sits on both sides) last week, and Skylar Astin stomped on my thigh. I guess my leg was a little bit onto the next seat, and he stomped on that seat and caught the edge of my leg with his boot. It didn't hurt, no big deal. I talked to him after, and he was really nice about it.
I love AA but one does feel very self-concsious out there.

Posted: 3/29/07 at 12:28amSkylar Astin almost stumbled on me when he jumped off the chair backwards, I almost jumped out of my seat! It was quite a funny experience, so worth it.

You guys freakin' ROCK, seriously!
All of this WONDERFUL feedback from fans of the show, it's a wonderful, beautiful, enjoyable thing!
Rob was my 1st (initial) reason for sitting onstage (and well, I had sat front row at the Atlantic -- a birthday gift from my best friend's family, which was incredible in itself), but then -- the love o' my life (super-crush, I know! - haha!) Lea Michele. I'll take AA 3 + 5. As dangerous as they may be!
We shall see -- I have time to make up my mind.
Best,
- Mike

Posted: 4/3/07 at 5:51pmcan someone tell me how the visuals and the sound is when u sit on stage? i saw it in the mez already and it looks as though there isn't a bad seat in the house. as i was walking out of the theater, a lady was telling me how her friend saw it on stage and didnt like it because she couldnt hear and apparently the cast member sitting next to her made her feel uncomfortabe.(why would that make someone feels uncomfortabe i would die of happyness. i dont really care though because i would pay $31 just to be on that stage.
