I had the same problem, TGIF! I thought I got there fairly early, but I still had all these tall people in front of me; I could hardly see. I'm 5'2, so I guess it wouldn't take much to block my view.

I knew Tim Curry was a total ass all along. Can't he just be happy he even got nominated?? Gosh...

I had the BEST time! I got there at 8:15ish and was 6th in line - so when it came time to line up behind the barrier I was right against it, in the center. Could not ask for a better spot! I took 52 photos which I can post later, but I'm so tired I can't do it now.
It was fantastic to see the stars so close, especially since their exit ramp was right in front of me. I told Gary Beach that he was fantastic and that I loved him and he squeezed my hand and said thanks - I could've died!
I was a little upset that Roger was MIA, but later found out that he wasn't in The Producers for the matinee either so he must be sick. But I did see Richard Kind's daughter - so cute! I took their picture together.
Gary was by far the best in my opinion, but everyone was great. I was so excited to have such an awesome view for a wonderful event as this was my first time going to one of these types of shows. And the people I talked to were so great too - made the almost 3 hour wait not so bad.
Let me know if you'd like to see the photos and I'll have them up when I can.

and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who besides being amazingly funny wore a shirt that said "F is for foshizzle" which amused me greatly...Sutton wasn't there, which didn't really suprise me but did sadden me a bit...(at least it didn't rain)And this event(Although I had a great time) needs to be renamed sardines in the alley
Yeah, the height thing pissed me off. I'm 5'0" but was in like the third row, so I only saw between people's heads, thank god I was so close. I was told there were so many people behind me and due to tall people I could basically see three rows behind me. I agree that there should be something for short people like me, I wouldn't have seen a thing if I wasn't so close.
yeah, i was so bummed that sutton wasn't there!
but overall, it was great! i'll definitley be making it an annual event

did everyone get an Altar Boyz promo CD? I was the girl that WASN'T in an Altar Boyz t-shirt handing out the cds... hehe. I must've handed out 600 today...

I beg your pardon??? What the heck do *you* know about what Tim Curry is really like? How do *you* know he isn't happy he got nominated?

I was typing in a hurry...plus it's OK to Gay....a nice theme dontcha think?
I also have pictures from the event, more of the stars singing autographs and not of them onstage since I was way to far back. If anyone wants them I should have them ready by tonight.
Also Richard Kind was...well....kind! He had his daughter with him and she was soo cute but when I told him that I loved the Producers he imediatly said "Have you seen Rogar Bart? He's excellent!" He was like selling his co-star it was so nice.

Awww, that's very sweet. :) And I agree with Mr.Kind whole-heartedly. I adore Roger Bart.
Richard's a doll - one of the nicest guys in the business.
When I spoke to him after he appeared at Chatterbox a few weeks ago, he asked me if I had seen DRS ("Isn't it GREAT?") and raved about how great John and Norbert were.
i saw that "F is for foshizzle" shirt later on that day at Circle in the Sq! lol oh that shirt rocks!! almost as much as my C is for Crunk shirt...lol i gave an Altar Boyz sampler CD to Harvey Fierstein and he held it up for the broadway.com camera crew! yay!! that's about the highlight of my experience at Stars...lol
