I bought the original apron from the 1979 show for my partner. It's hilarious! It has the key art on it, with painted blood splatters everywhere.

Thats the one item I never got in all the 8 times I saw the show. I wonder if they still sell it anywhere (online or in stores).

Without Sondheim's sig, it's not worth $130.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I am so upset that I didn't buy the original apron. Much better quality than the one for the revival. Had I not been given the revival apron, I would not own it.
