I know I'm in the monority, but I really don't care for the Fosse choreography. I like it, but don't love it. I love the current revival, the movie not so much.

lol!! I also enjoyed the current revival, despite the lack of "Fosse style" in it.

did wayne cilento "reimagine" the choegraphy? cuz ive seen pics of "big spender" and it doesnt look the same, and "im a brass band"...no comment!

It won't take long for the Charity Haters to show up after THAT question...Cilento did his own choreography for the Charity revival. The problem is, a lot of his work ended up looking like a poor imitation of Fosse' original choreography. This pissed off many people who were lucky enough to have seen the original staging of Charity.

It didn't bother me, as I went in to the show having never seen any incarnation of the story, so I managed to enjoy myself anyway.

I dunno... the only parts of the movie that really held my attention was the Frug, If My Friends Could See Me Now, and There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This. I hated The Rhythym of Life (but then again... I've always hated that song)... pretty much after Oscar came in, I was dissinterested. I don't think I ever made it to the end... anyway, though the choreography is amazing I'm not going to go out of my way to watch it again. Not great, not horrible...
