does this show have student tickets? i thought i read that it was SRO, but i think i read somewhere on this board that someone saw it with a $25 student ticket. anyone know?

I guess it just depends on your opinion. I personally think I will like the show because I love the score and I love Christina Applegate and can't wait to see how she is on stage. I've also noticed that there is a big love/hate thing going on here with Swet Charity which actually makes me want to see it more. There is also a love it or hate it attitude towards WICKED and WONDERFULTOWN and I loved them both so I am very excited about seeing Sweet Charity, but it will have to wait because right now I'm saving money to go see HAIRSPRAY on May 18th. WOO-HOO! I can't wait to see that show. YEAH!!!

I haven't seen the Broadway production yet, but I absolutely adore the musical itself. I have seen several regional productions, and I find the script quirky and delightful. It's more uneven than other traditional shows, but I feel it's Coleman's best score, and I find it to be a very engaging story. I don't understand why so many people hate the actual show.
