Read in Show People the entire season of the Saenger in New Orleans cancelled. What a pity. Hopefully, the theater can be brought back

I would imagine so, Roxy. The area that the Saenger was in was not hit so hard, wityh minimal flooding.

But many hotels still aren't open yet, and New Orleans theatre has always struggled. It makes sense for them to hold off awhile longer while the city gets it together.

The city is an absolute mess right now. It will be a while before anything is abck to normal, least of all theatre.

I've started smiling. It's not my style. But it's been highly recommended that I smile. So I've been grinning and sad to say...I think I like it.

It's not as bad as you think, especially in the Quarter. No doubt, though, it was a serious blow, and many outlying neighborhoods are pretty much gone now.
