just saw the promo for it. not sure what their "Salute" consists of but if you're staying in tonight, check it out.
it's on ABC at 7:30 pm.
I'm a SP fan so to those who watch it, let me know how it is!

I think it's being repeated at 5:30 this morning.
It was great. Interviews and behind the scenes with Kelli, Paulo, Matthew, Danny (and his wife Rebecca Luker), Loretta, Mary Rodgers, Bartlett Sher. Lots of clips of the show and backstage clips. And a few clips of the original stars.

LadyRosecoe - Yeah baby! Matt talking about his workout regime while showing him lifting weights in gym attire... Oh maaan indeed. He also talks about how trying to look good & show his six-pack while singing from his diaphram (which pushes his stomach out) is an impossible task.
I can't wait to see it again in August from the 1st Row Center Orch. It's well worth the full price ticket I paid for it (twice)

I really enjoyed it, and like Em said, this makes me want to see it 10x more than before. I really hope a lot of people were able to see it.

I saw and enjoyed the SOUTH PACIFIC special on WABC, broadcast from NYC. Although I live 300 miles upstate, I can get the NYC stations for WABC, WNBC, WCBS and Fox on my Direct TV satellite dish. It also brings in the west coast feeds for those stations. The only thing I can't get is PBS for some stupid reason, so I have missed some great broadcasts of a few Broadway shows and other theatre related shows.
I asked this in another thread, but no one responded: How long do you think Kelli O'Hara and her co-star will remain in SOUTH PACIFIC? I have tickets for December 12th.
