Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel in a new show

Of working again with Bareilles, Creel announces on the podcast: "I'm going to say it here that we are going to do a new show together. We're just crafting what it's going to be but we're going to play opposite each other in a new show. I'm excited!"

I loved them together in Waitress, so this is very exciting! I wonder what kind of show it could be??

My mind immediately came up with a few possibilities...



A show aomewhere like Carnegie Hall, a limited run type thing. Maybe just one-3 nights?

Not a performance on stage at all, but playing opposite each other in a TV show or something.

Third possibility is they really are doing something new on stage, but...what's coming up that they could be in together?

Okay I have to be honest--and I feel like such a fraud admitting this, when I claim to be a huge theater nerd BUT I've never seen a production of Little Shop

I tend to think that, before the current revival, quite a few theatre aficionados hadnever seen a production. Most know it from the movie."

I'm so glad I'm not alone! I want to see it, but then so many other things come onto my radar and I just don't get a chance to look at prices, discounts, etc. Hopefully I can find a way to see it-maybe. I still need to get Company tickets first!
