I saw Sara in Spamalot and I am listening to the CD now. So I am curious- what do you all think of her? Do you think she is the sh*t? Yay or nay and most of all...why or why not? Thanks!
She was the only part of the show that I liked. I've adored her for years, since "The Capeman". I see a Tony in her future (but doesn't everybody?)
YAY
Don't need a reason. Her performance speaks for itself.
yay, but not as big a yay as many.
I really liked her the most out of anything in the show, but nothing she did blew me away. She had the best songs and I found her vamped up character the most interesting, until the end at which point I disliked everything about the show including her.
I <3 Sara. She is amazing in Spamalot.

Yay.
She was oozing with stage presence from start to finish, and managed to channel almost every Broadway diva known to man. She had excellent comedic timing, too. I would LIKE to see a Tony in her future, but with all the hype surrounding her and the show, I'm getting a little nervous...
"Yay" on her voice, "Nay" on the role. As I've said before, it's a one-joke role that after her second scene gets amazingly old and overused. She'd be much better off in a better show with a better role and songs better suited to her amazing vocal abilities.
Loved her energy, timing and talent all the way.
Yay! She played the part perfectly. She is like a breath of fresh air. She is really talented!
Best star-making turn on Broadway this year. That role really should make her a hot commodity on the theatrical scene.
I can't stop listening to the last 40 seconds of "Find Your Grail." Seriously, I just backing up to it.
she made the show.......
Yay!

I completely agree with smartpenguin78 and Matt_G. "Yay" on her voice but "Nay" overall. It was one-dimensional and way over the top. She deserves much better.
I've only heard the cast recording, and I really can't stop listening to every song she is featured. I can feel her stage presence and vibrance booming out of my speakers. I'm sure the show is very empty and frivolous, but I think she deserves every credential going her way. Her comic timing in her singing is impeccible, and she really knows how to play everything she was given, the good and the bad material.

I saw Spamalot when it previewed in Chicago. I was BLOWN AWAY by her! She has an amazing voice and can literally transform it to sound like anything! She better win the Tony!
YAY!!!
She made Spam for me. She's the only reason I gone to see it 3 times. I adore her and think she is a goddess with a voice that can't be described. She is beautiful and talented and funny and I hope that she will have a big juicy role soon!
Sara! Tony! Sara! Tony!
Yay! She's funny (great facial expressions and comedic timing), pretty and can sing in any range. She's also very nice to her fans and appears to be a very genuine person.
