She has a very powerful voice. I've only seen her and heard her in Spamalot. It will be interesting to hear her voice in a new light.

I am sooo excited, but I'm not too sure about Eric Idle writing for her. I mean I love Spamalot, but I don't know if it'll work. Any thoughts?

“All I can say is that Eric Idle and John Du Prez, who were the writers of Spamalot, are writing the album,” said Ramirez.

Is it possible that she isn't recording a solo album, but a concept album or demo for a future Idle/Du Prez show?

Otherwise, what idiot would choose that songwriting team to compose her whole big solo release?

well, I love Diva's lament, so I'm excited to have a whole CD of Sara singing their music. AWESOME! she has a fantastic voice, but also fantastic comedy chops! Love her!
