....not that one. A dramatic one.
"Frankenstein will have its world premiere in September at the Paper Mill Playhouse with Broadway stars Drew Sarich and Ron Bohmer as Frankenstein and his monster respectively. A pre-Broadway national tour is set to follow.
Frankenstein was written by a trio of Broadway neophytes: Gary P. Cohen (original story adaptation), Mark Baron (music) and Jeffrey Jackson (book and lyrics). A concept CD of the score was released in 2002 featuring Shuler Hensley, Ivan Rutherford and Rita Harvey (Coincidentally, Hensley is expected to play the monster in Young Frankenstein). Bill Fennelly, who most recently was the resident director for the national tour of The Lion King, will direct the musical."
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I believe a DVD was also made with a minimalist staging . It was available on the shows website
Yay! Drew Sarich finally in a lead role... what I've been waiting for!

I am incredibly overcome with joy upon hearing this. Apparently, Drew gave them a good impression during the readings.

This is so cool cause Gary Cohen is my Play Production professor at Middlesex County College. So, I think this is great for him and everyone else involved.

A pre-Broadway tour? If (or when, more likely....) YF wins the Tony next season, I wonder if that would help or hurt the chances of this actually getting to Broadway. Very interesting.

Yay! WTF is the Papermill Playhouse, though? I'm dumb!
^ You're from Indiana. So I can't yell at you.
It's New Jersey's famous Regional Theatre. It's very close to New York. A ton of Broadway professionals perform there. It's Broadway quality theatre. Very professional. Everyone from Chita Rivera, to Betty Buckley, to Bernadette Peters, to Carol Channing , to Christine Ebersole, to Donna McKechnie, to Kristin Chenoweth and more have performed there.

Bohmer was great in Woman in White.
Wonderful performer & like his voice.
Both are very talented actors. I love Ro-Bo!
Looks like the news has caught at least one of them by surprise.

They don't have Google in Indiana?
Maybe Playbill and Broadway.com wanted to get in on the BroadwayWorld.com April Fool's Day action! I'm just sayin'...
well no one told Drew he was doing it... Drew OR his agent for that matter.
