Allen would be very good.
But Ashanti is also very good. For evidence, watch her do the ending of Defying Gravity on the forbidden site. She has what it takes to do well in The Wiz.

Posted: 5/20/09 at 9:10pmSasha Allen has an incredible voice--she needs to get her single "Let's Fly Away" on the radio. She is one of the few Broadway performers whose music I could actually imagine hearing on the radio. :-/
