Full cast was in up until a few minutes before "Touch Me" when Lauren Pritchard ran off stage (after looking pretty sick for lthe first 20 minutes of the show). Krysta Rodriguez followed her and she came on 2 minutes later, and played the rest of the show as Ilse.
In case anyone cares...
Ran off like she was about to throw up?
Aww, poor girl. She should have stayed at home.
aww that sucks. I give her props for trying to do the run.

awww poor thing
that would be so horrible to have to run off stage. She should stay home and really get better
awww i hope she feels better. that's a trooper for you!
it happens tot he best of us... major props for her, since really she isn't built for 8 shows a week (as somebody said in another thread, she's less of an actress and more of a singer/songwriter) i'm amazed at how well she's done
Not to run off to throw up.
She got up at after "My Junk" and bulleted so that Krysta could make it back in time in costume, etc.
Krysta was fab. anyway. Wish she would've had long hair though... she looked a bit hip to be Ilse.

I hope she feels better soon. I read in another thread that she has the flu..or that she's just really sick.
I heard Frances Mercanti-Anthony went on for the first time as Adult Women this evening. Also Phoebe was on as Ilse and Krysta was on as Anna.

awww yay for pheobe!ilse again!!
you know, it's really cool, this is one of the very few shows where I REALLY wouldn't mind seeing understudies and such in most cases. I havn't heard stellar things about Jenn (though I really cant judge at all for myself since I havn't ever seen/heard her), but I LOVED krysta as ilse, would LOVE to see pheobe as Ilse, and would love to see either of them as Wendla too. I'm still a little unclear about the guy understudies so I'm not too sure about them, but the girl understudies are awesome.

I really thought Jenn was good, but maybe I just saw her on a good night.
So wait, if Francis went on for Adult Women and Krysta went on for Anna, who covered Krysta's ensemble track since they only have Francis to cover the ensemble girls? Did they just have an empty spot?
They probably just put the adult men u/s in, but I'm not sure.

I too was at the matinee. I was surprised to see Lauren start the show. I have to admit I am quite the Lauren fan. I really have to take except with the comments that she is not BUILT for 8 shows. So, I had hear she had been out I was glad to see NO understudies when the show started. When Krysta came out as Ilse, I figured she was still sick. After the show I was talking to Lilli and she said that Lauren had the Flu all week but really wanted to get back, but it was just too much. Did not love Krysta but thought she did a good job. I think the hair style was a bit off putting for me, made her not look as innocent as Ilse.
Also, you could definately tell that Christine Eastbrook had a cold, very nasally and congested.
This was my 4th time seeing the show and I was outstanding. This also was the loudest and longest ovation I have heard yet. Congrats to great cast.

its funny... I think I seem to be one of the only people who DIDNT so much mind Krysta's hairstyle. I mean sure, its more modern and everything (super cute too, just in general- I really like it hehe), but I wasn't really put off by that. Now, if she went on as Wendla with that hair, THEN it would be a problem, because that hairstyle is more edgy and... I dont know, it's just not very "innocent girl" looking. So that would be a problem. But I think Ilse is the type of character who's maybe a little on the edgier side for her time anyway, so it didn't really take anything away for me. It didn't ADD anything either, and I DO still think lauren's hair works even better, but it's just it wasn't really that big a deal to me.

I saw the matinee and the evening show last night (because I'm a nerd for understudies), and posted detailed reviews over at the SA discussion board, The Guilty Ones. http://forum.theguiltyones.org/index.php?topic=32.msg1626#msg1626
In answer to somebody's question: since they ran out of female swings, yes, there was an empty on-stage seat where Krysta normally sits.
