The NY Post reports Mandy Patinkin is battling prostate cancer, but that it was caught early. Tough News, I wish him a good recovery & hope he does well.

As controversial as this man can be - I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. My father had a long and painful bout with Prostate Cancer in the early 90s and It can be a killer. I will send out lots of white light for Mr. Patinkin...he can still belt out a tune with the best of them.

He's really had it tough. He's had some major eye problems as well.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Sorry to hear about him being ill. I have seen him play many diffent roles on t.v. and stage. I like his voice and I do not know why he rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

Aw, poor man. I think I'm gonna cry after hearing this. I have the cast albums to Evita and The Secret Garden and I can hear his voice there. In The Secret Garden, I cry every time he sings How Could I Ever Know with Rebecca Luker.

but you are entitled to your opinion. As for his illness, the press has reported that it was caught early and that his prognosis is excellent, so you can expect to hate his work for years to come :)
