Scam Question

Tickets are not on sale for Hairspray in Philadelphia yet, but some sites are selling them. Is this a scam? Or do they release tickets early?

I'm not sure about this particular event, but Ticketmaster often sells tickets early to holders of a specific credit card or people who belong to certain groups or have purchased certain items. I'd check the ads and see who's selling the tickets and contact them (Tickmaster, Ticketweb, etc.) Are you talking about reseller sites (Scalpers) or what?

Sometimes season ticket holders can purchase tickets early and they may have made their way to to brokers before they go on sale to the public.
