Scarlett Strallen and Adam Fiorentino Interview#1

An interview from TheatreMania.com featuring the two actors at Sardi's and footage with them from the show (it seems the show has been reshot...hopefully we'll be seeing new promos!).
I can't wait to see them in this show!

As I said at the time of the previous set of replacements, who the hell are these people?
They may be extraordinarily talented, but they won't sell a dime. The grosses for Mary Poppins have not been strong of late and they need a boost. These folks aren't it.

Posted: 11/20/08 at 5:04pmI hate to break it to you WOSQ, but no one knew who Ashley or Gavin were either outside of theatre afficianados. The majority of people and families in attendance do not know Broadway names, so Scarlet and Adam I doubt are affecting attendance. The grosses are falling because is a show geared towards families and we are in a recession. The hard economic times are also the reason every other day I get an email from Disney on Broadway with all kinds of deals. Mary Poppins does not need a name. It is an expensive show to produce and tickets are expensive for families right now.
