Hi,
I am dying to see SOR and have the option to do so with heavily discounted tickets. My only options for the show are the extreme sides of the first few rows of the orchestra and the first few rows or the mezzanine again, on the extreme sides and only (about the 6 end end seats on each row of the mezz). Could anyone give me advice on where to sit from these options or information about partial view seats for SOR and how it is from those seats? Thank you.

I sat on the first row of the mezz, maybe 5 or 6 seats in from the side (house right). I don't think I missed a lot at all. The boxes didn't bother me or block much, but there were a few things happening to the far right that I couldn't see. It didn't distract me or take away from my enjoyment. It's a fun time, and I do think the mezz is a better choice than the first few rows of the orchestra. Sometimes the sound was too loud for me to understand specific lyrics even that far back. I imagine you might miss a lot during the songs and/or be blown away by the noise.

I sat in the mezzanine on Saturday matinee and was in C-21, which was the "lottery" seats for that performance. I had seen the show twice prior, and the only things I couldn't see were the far upstage door to the classroom and the chalkboard - nothing too major honestly. Most of the action plays center, so you don't miss too much.

I sat on the very end of the front row when I got rush seats for a Wednesday matinee. I'd never seen the show before, and I could SORT of see the chalkboard, but I don't think I missed anything else.

I saw the show last Tuesday and sat in front row orchestra all the way to the left hand side. Like the other commenters in this post said, the only thing that I missed was the writing on the chalkboard. I loved being up close and in the action.
