I did. It was AMAZING. Scott did a great job and all the performers were awesome.

All the songs performed were Scott's songs. Many from PIECE THE MUSICAL. He performed "If I Own Today," "Kiss the Air," "Never Never Land," and "Goodnight." Cheyenne Jackson sang "Surrender" and another song--I forgot. Shoshana Bean sang "Home." Marty Thomas and Scott sang "Till the End of Time." Lauren Thomas sand "Magic". It was a very entertaining and enjoyable show.

Well, He reads the board maybe he'll answer the question.
And why would it be sarcastic, given that then show was held to pay his rent, since he can't hold a day job.

Bill.....What do you care? Are you his roommate? If not then why be so vicious. We should be encouraging young talent. Not bashing them for reasons that are none of our concern.

Careful Bill-or you'll get this thread removed. Only nice things can be said of Scott Alan or he posts mean things on his own blog-or worse, he quits the business!

Gal-what Bill is referring to is the fact that despite the fact that all of Scott's other efforts at the duplex have been benefits (and put together similarly to last night's soiree), last night was constructed specifically to help Scott pay his rent (as Scott wrote in his plea to the performers to come sing). So people got upset because they had assumed because it looked like a duck and quacked like a duck that it MUST be a benefit...and that is what Bill is referring to...and I agree, those young talents who are interested in growing as artists absolutely should be encouraged...

the New Voices series, was never meant to be a benefit. They were to support the young talents that were being showcased. Updated On: 8/24/05 at 11:33 AM
