I know it doesn't open until next week, but does anyone have any thoughts about this one? The plot sounds kind of intense and strange, but then again, Chicago does too even though (IMHO) it's really quite fabulous and clever.
Has anyone heard music/buzz about this one yet? A new Kander & Ebb sounds like it could be really amazing... Any thoughts???

I'm so excited to hear about it. Nobody does serious/dark musicals better, and I think this could be really exciting and a nice surge for the new musical this season.

I've heard that Susan Stroman staged it using only chairs as the set design. I guess she is doing an amazing job.

I was hoping to see this show when over in New York at the end of March, but its shutting just before I arrive.
Of course the Kander and Ebb score interests me and see how it works with the dark story of injustice of the time, when racism wasn't a concern.

A friend of mine is in it and he is really excited about it! I definitely plan on checking it out.
It was officially extended through April 4, so now Phantom can see it!!
I'm very excited to see this show. I also have a very close friend in it and am so excited to see him do his thing!!
I've heard some of the music and it's good: classic Kander and Ebb from their Chicago era. Clean melodies with vaudevillian style.

In 1972, Judge Horton put his car in reverse and slammed into the back of my uncle's station wagon. Aren't I special?
Got my tix for Saturday night! Old skool Kander & Ebb... I CANNOT WAIT!!!
