Posted: 7/23/10 at 9:28amSo, the Scottsboro Boys is opening next week @ the Guthrie and I seem to recall that there are a few members not repeating their electrifying performances (I know Joshua Henry has been announced as one of the replacements)... What I'm most interested in is the role of the Interlocutor (John Cullum's former role). Cullum was mesmerizing and it's difficult for me to picture anyone else in that role. BUT, apparently he's not continuing... Has anyone heard any news/rumours about who will be replacing him and/or any other casting updates?

Posted: 7/23/10 at 3:06pmYes, American Idiot's Joshua Henry will assume the role of Haywood Patterson for the Guthrie and Broadway runs. The Interlocutor will be played by David Anthony Brinkley, a veteran Minneapolis actor who has appeared in a number of other Guthrie productions. No word if Brinkely will stick with the production or if Cullum will return to the show back in New York.
