Hi everyone,

I'm going to be in NYC for a few days and am wondering if you've heard anything about student tickets, rush or lotto for Scottscboro Boys or Women on the Verge. They're all I need to see - technically both on the nights they start i.e. Oct 7 for SB and Oct 8 for Women. I feel sort of hopeless but if anyone has advice, that'd be great.

Thanks!

I am also going next weekend, has any sort of rush/lotto policy been announced for Women on the Verge?

Nothing is listed on Playbill.com.

It's not uncommon to not find out specifics until a show has started performances.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Scottsboro boys
$26.50 student rush 2 per ID

Verge: Its a Lincoln center show so im guessing they'll have the normal $21.50 deal whatever's left

Thanks - how'd you find out?
For Scottsboro is student rush right when the box office opens i.e. 10am?

For Lincoln Centre, is it also when the box office opens?

For both - any seats available or do they usually block off seats?

Thanks!

Re: Lincoln Center rush

I know for the Beaumont and the Newhouse, student rush tickets are sold starting 2 hours before curtain. I'm almost positive I got my ticket for In the Next Room 2 hours before curtain as well, but I couldn't say for sure. Their policy in the past has been whatever seats are left.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad
