"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

What about Jeff McCarthy?

BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"

Wow I love that Adam Pascal one. I would go search for a town to go see him. I am too close to the city not many things come close to where i live. Although the RENT tour did come.

Tony Randall is also dead. I think Freddy is a harder role than Fyeiro, obviously, and a very different role than Roger. Norbert was a different kind of Roger, I don't think most of the others, including Pascal, would work for this role. I'd actually love to see Larry David as Lawrence though, that would be funny.

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

fantastic news. i think this will do great on tour. but i hope they find some fantastic leads. i really feel the leading and supporting performances in the broadway show are what pushes this over the edge into greatness this season.

I think Hunter Foster could do Freddy justice.( in a manner of speaking) I actually thought Colin Mochrie would do Lawerence well but not really sure if his singing is strong enough.

Colin did an interview with Rosie once where he said he'd love to do a musical but that he has a problem memorizing lyrics...

Frankly, Colin tours SO much with the Who's LIne gang and he doesn't enjoy that so a DRS tour wouldn't make him any happier. I was just trying to think of tall white Presbytarians.

Daniel Davis is free, but I don't know how tall he is.

Very funny CATSNYrevival!!!
Oh, and Colin doesn't do anymore whole lines. He has a new thing, "A night with colin and brad" that he tours everywhere for. But I would totally see it if colin was in it!! I love colin!!

sabrelady - Hunter Foster was the first person who popped into my mind while I was watching the show -- something Norbert did was Hunter-like. I think he'd be great.

I'd like to see Doug Sills as Lawrence. I believe he did an early workshop.

Has Nick Wyman gone on yet? I'm curious to know what he's like.
