Anyone who has sat in the front row for phantom, is the stage extremely high? Not sure if we want to sit that close or pick something further back. Any suggestions are appreciated! :)

My mistake! The Majestic is what I meant.
The stage is not high at all and you can see feet just fine. My favorite seats for "Phantom" are in the front row, but I've seen the show many times before. If you haven't the front row is not ideal.
I have seen the show before. I would love to sit front row for Norm Lewis, but I was debating whether the stage would be too high to really see everything. I don't want to sit with my neck up for the whole time.
You definitely won't. I'm 5'2 and my wife is 5 and we never crane or look up, with the exception of the chandelier and Angel that is.
that's great! thanks so much!
Anytime, and enjoy Norm from the front row. It's an amazing experience!
I will second Marway44's comments. Outside of New York, my favorite place to sit is always the front row, but as you know, more often than not the Broadway stages are set very high. I saw Phantom in New York recently and I sat in the third row. That seat was fine but I could tell that the front row would have been unobstructed and it was one of the few times I regretted not buying front row seats in New York.

I'm 5'2 and sat front row and it was actually a perfect view. Front row center is my absolute favorite seat in the Majestic. The only problem, like others said, is that you have to crane your neck for the phantom in the golden angel and you can't really see him in the proscenium. But it's not really a huge deal anyways.
I LOVED the front row. It's a really neat experience from there.
thanks so much for the advice guys! tickets have been purchased for front row center on January 17th!
