Seating Question for the Lyceum

I am looking for purchase tickets for A View from the Bridge.  On the night I am looking at, there are front row seats available.  Is this too close for this production?  Is this a low stage or is the stage so high that I will be straining to see everything??  Also, has anyone done the onstage seating?  I love being very close, but not if the stage is too high.  Thanks for your help.

Sorry to interrupt your question, but if anyone could answer mine as well it would be helpful. Is the "rear" onstage seating a good view (Rows F and G). Because with a discount code those seats come to only $59, while A-E are $87. Thanks so much. Btw, BWAY Rob I don't think this stage is too high, and I hear that the onstage seating is very good.

I did not sit onstage but having watched the show the incline is very steep so back rows should have a very good view. You'd miss some downstage stuff  regardless but they do a good job of playing to the sides.

I don't recall the stage being very high but can't say for sure.

I was glad I didn't sit on stage just because I was tired and yawning the whole time and would've felt awful about that being so visible. Not my cup of tea personally but I can see why others love it.  Hope you're in the group that enjoys. Regardless, Strong's performance makes it worth seeing.

I guess I should correct that:  you won't miss downstage stuff sitting on stage but they'll have their backs to you at times.

I can't speak about the stage height for A View From The Bridge, but I sat in the orchestra center second row for The Visit. I paid more to be in the second row than the price for the front row because I was concerned about the stage height. But at least for that show, the stage was not high. I was thinking I wish I had saved money and bought the front row. The front row was fine for The Visit.

I saw AVFTB from Row F on stage and it was an excellent view!

The glass bench that surrounds the set makes it hard to see from the first 2 rows unless you are really tall.

I sat in the second row of the orchestra and the view was great. Yes, the low wall of the set means you won't be able to see feet, but it's still wonderful to be close for this production.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
