Actually I don't really like the music at all. A lot of the score is boring and the songs go on for too long. The plot is good and there's a lot of drama. It just didn't keep my attention at all. Keep it in the past.

i love the music actually. we did a medley from this show in chorus when i was a senior is high school. i hope they do revive it.

oh god no! i HATE this show...i just saw it this summer and it was so dull and boring...uck, no! but i'm glad if you like it...haha

i saw a recent college production of Secret Garden three times. and i rarely go see shows more than once, but after seeing this i had visions of a Broadway Revival for weeks. i think it's a TAD bit too soon to be thinking about a revival tho.
There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. While I celebrate their creative freedom, a little part of me just wants to punch those motherf*ckers in the teeth...[tos]

The Secret Garden was the first Broadway show I ever saw, and so I'd love to see it again. It has a special place in my heart! And I think the music is great; I still listen to it a lot. The song Lily's Eyes is my fave.

While I don't think it should be revived anytime soon (I wanna see goo NEW works out there now) I do love this show and I think I can say it is the first show that I absolutely fell in love with, and one of the reasons I am in the theatre industry today. I would LOVE to direct and set-design this show. It is always done best when the darker elements of the story are brought to the surface and done in a sort of gothic style. The music is gorgeous and the characters are so fleshed out. I love this show.
