I'm looking for seductive, ladies' mans characters from plays., Any ideas?
Bernard in Boeing-Boeing comes to mind first.
Plays as opposed to musicals? For musicals I immediately thought of Lawrence Jameson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (although I thought Andree was more seductive).
For plays I'd have to think some more. Maybe Elyot Chase in Private Lives?
God, there are so many! Val from Tennessee Williams' "Orpheus Descending" comes to mind. Or if you're trying to go a more comical route, look at Versati from Steve Martin's "The Underpants."

Yes, looking for something pretty contemporary though
By contemporary, do you mean set in modern times or a new play? There's Wickham in "Pride and Prejudice." The time period isn't 'contemporary,' but the play itself is. At least, the Jon Jory version of the play is pretty new. (And very true to the book.)
I don't think he fits the description well, but I think Steve from August: Osage County should at least be mentioned.
Adolpho from The Drowsy Chaperone...at least, he thinks he is.
Dante, from Marie Christine
If you're going in the classical sense, check out the plays about Don Juan, namely Moliere's version and The Rogue of Seville by Tirso de Molina.
