Posted: 10/11/08 at 5:35pmOh, this was sort of interesting and I was a bit tempted. But then I see I have to pay THEM the $20 to sit through it, they aren't going to pay ME the $20. Never mind.

"Rushed" it today, and really had a good time !!! We got Row B, and it was fun. Some catchy songs, and the "kids" really give it their all.

Posted: 10/12/08 at 6:55pmThe whole "teen orchestra and cast" thing interests me but the story I'm kind of iffyish.

The storyline is cute--- its not brilliant, but you can relate to it (I definitely did !!! It reminded me why I hated JHS and HS !!! LOL)

Posted: 10/12/08 at 7:19pmkathygriffinlovesyou, i totally get how the story sounds bad on paper and i was extremely skeptical the first time i went to see the show, but it plays out well on stage and it's fun. i would ignore all the negative comments on here, and check it out! plus, the teen band is really great...that is also what got me interested in the first place.

Posted: 10/12/08 at 7:58pmI would never pay more than I did to see this show...and I saw it for free! It's just plain bad.

I got an e-mail (mass e-mail) from JRB about $25 tix. I thought it's kind a funny that he said that he'd be in the theatre pretty much every day. Isn't it unusual for a composer to stick around after the show opens? Does any other composers do that?
edit:ha ha it wasn't intentional.

Ha!! A subconscious reference to the quality of the show perhaps?

sorry wonderwall you don't get off that easy..(plain bad) is not a valid crtique. you'll need to articulate your thoughts to those who read your remarks,in some specificity, as to WHY you believed this show was bad if you wish to give your opinion any creditability. without it your opinion is worth what you paid for your ticket
