Wow. Never having seen the show or heard the music before all I can say is wow. Definitely going to buy this cd!

"I wrote a book: "How to Be Popular". Now I've put together a top ten list of how to help you: -Elphie, everyday... shower. I mean, who knows? Maybe some of that green is gonna come off! -Deodorant Elphie. No body likes a stinky witch! -I think we've covered the hair, we'll get to that. -Clean underclothes. That's all I'm gonna say. -Look at your posture. That's no way to be popular! -Bed made, room straightened. We've done that. -Colors blended. Oookay. -But the most important thing to have, to make yourself popular, is to keep your beautiful smile." ~Kristin Chenoweth in her last performance of the song "Popular"

Can I air my one grievance with this cd? I'm sure it costs more money, and that's why they didn't do it, but I really wish it came in a plastic cd case, not just the cardboard thing. It doesn't keep it as safe AND it doesn't fit in with all my other cds. Ok, I'm done. That's all.

Ok, so I was looking at SWIWS on my iTunes, and I realized that for the song Quartet: You'll Go Away With Me, the artists are Marc Kudisch, Idian Menzel, etc. Spelled like that. Is anyone else's like that?

I did a direct rip from my CD to iTunes, so that was ok, BUT the last song was titled "Srising, Up"... oddly enough. I changed it.

And I think it's glorious, there's a good chance I would have been depressed if they hadn't recorded this show.

Now what would you say if today I started over? Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover And I'll pretend like everything is already alright And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight

My last one is Srising up as well. I did a direct thing from my cd to my itunes. I don't know why the Idian/Idina thing is like that on that one song.

Has anyone seen SWIWS in a retail store (aka anywhere not online), more specifically in T.O.? I've looked around HMV, Sam the Record Man's, even went to the "special orders" desk at those places- and no luck. Just wondering if anyone's seen it or knows about ordering it (in person) from a chain or local retailer. Thanks :)

They didn't even have it at Virgin Times Square.

I actually saw it in a store near me today. I was surprised.

Idina is so spastic while recording. It was funny to see. Great video, though, and even better recording!

I got it @ Colony when I was in this week. ( yes I KNOW they over charge but ya takes it where u can get it!) I suspect in Toronto this is gonna be a hard one. Song and Script knew nothing about it and gave me their standard "many small labels we can't get in..." line. Could try TheatreQ's but suspect u will hafta go on line to order. ( or hook up w me to burn one!)

Well, I'm gonna go to Theatre Q's tomorrow to ask in person. Otherwise, I may take you up on that offer, sabrelady (if it is one) and then buy it as soon as I can find it (legit) here. I just can't wait any freakin' longer to listen to it!! It feels like I've been waiting for*ever*- since I saw it in October. Plus, I promised this artisitic producer friend of mine I'd get it ASAP and lend it to him, 'cause he's always looking for ideas for his next show (which would be awesome if he did it). I didn't know it would be so freakin' hard to find an awesome cast recording like it is this huge city I live in- why else be here, but for the "musical perks"? :)
