I saw this show in Cincy a few months ago. It looks like the cast has changed a bit, but I gauntee you that you'll love the young boy played by Noah Galvin- He gives a masterful performance. The the score is quite good and I thought that with a little tweaking and some cutting (it ran about 2h 30m, unnecessarily) it could be a very quality piece that can really be intriguing to all ages and sexes. Many of the middle aged/older males that were in the theater when I saw it left crying. I think you'll probably enjoy it but to me it's more of a smaller scaled/ chamber type show. The theater I saw it in seats approx. 500 or so and that would be about as large as I would think necessary. Arden should be great in that role-It's a great role. He wan't involved with the production I saw though so don't know. I hope you enjoy!
Today's the day...found out we have partial view seating...not too bad as long as it is not partial HEARING seats...looking forward to hearing Michael.
Thanks for the link Blue!
"Bad theater is better than no theater"
Some smart guy.
I saw the show last night. Wasn't quite what I expected but it was really good none-the-less. I actually almost formed a tear. I'm in a rush right now but I'll write more later.
In the meantime, I've uploaded some photos from the program and what not onto a new group I created on MySpace. Feel free to join it:
