Seeing a show tomorrow night...

Hey guys, this is my first message here on B'Way World even though I have been reading off and on for years here. I know this is probably a repetitive question, but I am going to be annoying anyway and ask for your help. Tomorrow a group of 5 of us are going into the city really early to see if we can get student rush tickets for a show. Our options are:

-The Color Purple
-Xanadue
-Legally Blonde
-Spring Awakening

Can you please just let me know the chances of getting Student Rush for any of those are and what time should we get there by at the very latest? We are coming from CT, so it is only an 80 minute train ride. Also if there are other shows that you think we will have a better shot as getting Student Rush for please feel free to post.

I don't think Xanadu does student rush anymore. Spring Awakening and Legally Blonde are ridiculously early. Not sure about Color Purple- do they even have one?

Purple has a general rush- not just students only.

I know for THE COLOR PURPLE and LEGALLY BLONDE its reccomended to get there around 7 or 7:30 in the morning if you want tickets
Wish SPRING AWAKENING, I think its about 8 or 8:30
XANADU doesnt have rush, but has onstage seats. Not sure if you could get 5 last minute, though.
SPELLING BEE, A CHORUS LINE, THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING, and probably another show or two have rush. SPELLING BEE is supposed to be somewhat difficult, but the other 2 are supposed to be pretty easy.

Have fun at whatever you end up seeing :)

Spring Awakening is ridiculous. Probably more like 6 than 8. I got to Legally Blonde at 7 and was the third "group" in line, and that worked out great.

I got rush tickets for Spring Awakening for tonight's show! I got there at 9 and I was fine. The show was absolutely incredible. I would get there around 8 though just to be safe. I believe Jersey Boys does a rush as well.

Thanks to everyone who helped. I ended up getting Rush tickets for The Color Purple and we ended up in front row. And when we got to the line, it was about 7:30-ish.
