Seeking info on BILLY the Musical

Earlier today and a friend and I discovered that there was a musical adaptation of Billy Budd!

This production had music and lyrics by Ron Dante and Gene Allan, with a book by Stephen Glassman. 

Does anyone have, or know of, any recordings, information, or anecdotes about the show? We’re very intrigued!

I hate to tell you this, but I saw a preview and can only remember two things: (1) being bored out of my mind; and (2 )thinking that the set was great.  I think it closed on opening night.  Whether that was true or it closed at the end of the week, I remember thinking 'thank God', so others would not waste money buying tickets.
