The short of it:
2 tickets, Wednesday 4/25/18 8pm, Orch Right, Row O, Seats 26-28, $484ea. You can PayPal/Venmo me the money and I will transfer the tickets to you on Ticketmaster. Please PM me.
The long of it, for transparency’s sake, if you’re interested:
Back in August I bought two separate pairs of tickets to Hamilton ($484/pair) because a friend told me that she would buy the second pair from me for $484/ticket (basically paying for our tickets, for the trouble of scoring tickets for her - very generous, I know - but I’m certainly in no position to turn down such an offer).
She *just* told me that she’s pregnant, due early May, and can obviously no longer commit to the show/trip to NYC at the end of April.
I would really love to be able to just resell her seats for what she was going to buy them for, but TM adds a listing fee (so they’re listed for $553ea) plus more fees for the buyer...so the total to buy them on TM comes out to a whopping $1308 when all I really want is $968 for the pair.
Anyway, if someone would like these tickets and wants to save $340 in fees, please PM me. Thanks!
I don't understand a) Why she didn't pay you for the tickets right away when you purchased them for her back in August; and b) Why you are trying to get double your money from someone else after your friend reneged on the deal. I think you are being a tad greedy.
Seems to me you can list the seats on TM and still make your money back, without the hassle.
Your friend owes you an apology, too, for stiffing you.

Sell tickets for face value on here or get lost.
Buy these tickets for twice face value and . . . save?

Yeah, OP you've got me lost. The double deal with your friend was kind of just a double deal with her, if she's backed out then the deal is gone lol. I can easily find tickets on ticketmaster in this price range that your selling for that date, so you're better off just going on ticketmaster to sell if you want that deal you had with your friend.
I am sorry your friend backed out, though. That really sucks.

Point taken, sorry. Reading it back I can see how silly it sounds. I think I was just taken aback by the situation and by the fees and had already budgeted for the extra money I thought I would have. Live and learn. Sorry again.
