In Seth Rudetsky's 'Onstage & Backstage' column last week at Playbill.com, Seth wrote about playing for our 'Leading Men III' concert for Broadway Cares on April 21 at Birdland. He said, 'The men all sounded great, and I must give a special shout-out to Tom Andersen who performed his signature song that he also wrote, 'Yard Sale.' It has such a simple beautiful melody and tells about a yard sale that Tom really went to in San Francisco that you realize is being held by a man who knows he's dying of AIDS. It's so well-written and literally makes me cry as I play it! You must listen - visit http://youtube.com/watch?v=2hLtT5vUVGU
Bravo for Seth's brilliant work in playing for all 'The Leading Men,' but thanks, too, for posting a link to Tom's song.

Thanks for posting. WOW...is all I can say.
WOW...powerful stuff! I admit to being moved to a tear or two. All I can say is thanks for sharing that!

I just wanted to say 'thank you' to Seth for posting a link to 'Yard Sale' and to all of you who came to hear it at YouTube. As a songwriter and singer, I can't tell you how much it means to get my songs out into the world, and that others might respond so nicely to them. I greatly appreciate it.
