Shadowing Stage Manager

Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July yesterday!

I'm in the city for a few more weeks finishing a program and I would love to shadow a Stage Manager before leaving.

I am interested in pursuing stage management and production management and would love to get a taste of the experience while still in New York.

Does anyone know who the right person to contact at a theatre or know anyone I can talk to?

You can contact The Lion King PSM Ron Vodicka via email and he will forward your request to the SM. They're very accommodating and happy to have young people shadow them. I myself shadowed The Lion King twice and I'm thinking about doing it a third time.
