Shakespeare Hall of Fame

Can someone explain to me how it is that Leonardo diCaprio is on the list of those going into this Hall of Fame and people like Ian McKellen, John Geilgud and David Tennant are not? McKellen didn't even make the reserve list!

Well, if they're going back as far as Jonson, then they really do have to be *incredibly* selective about who they include. If they're including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen is not of a different enough generation or style to also get on it. Of the list of 10 candidates, I think I'd lean towards ... well, damn, there's reason enough to include all of them. D: I'd like to stick another woman on the list, but I'd also like to see Peter Brook or John Gielgud on there. Tricky indeed. :/
