I have heard about Shakespeare on the Run for years - the performance group that does Shakespeare plays while changing location every 10 or 15 minutes. This summer they are doing Richard III and Much Ado. Has anyone attended a performance in the past, and is it exciting or just distracting? I am adventuresome when it comes to Shakespeare but don't want to travel into the city and find that it is a waste of time.
The concept is a little distracting, yes. But I recently saw their HAMLET and the acting was so great that I actually didn't care that the concept was kind of annoying.

Thanks for the input. I am intrigued enough to give it a try - probably with MUCH ADO.

It's a lot of fun. Wear walking shoes.
There is alot of very interesting takes on Shakespeare in NYC. You should see Shakespeare in the Parking Lot too!
