Signature's website has a cool thing, they are posting people's thoughts on Angels in America, and are asking regular folks to submit. So far they posted Romulus Linney and Billy Porter, who wrote a really beautiful piece about what Angels means to him. I sent something in just now, wonder if they'll post it. Here's what it says on their site:
"We continue our series of posts featuring people's thoughts on the power and impact of Tony Kushner’s Angels in America. Click here and continue checking back for more words from Broadway cast members, our current cast and creative team, Signature’s past Playwrights-in-Residence, and others in the theatre community. We also want to hear from YOU -- click here to find out how you can contribute."

This is a great idea! I'm trying to write something, but it's tougher than I expected.

Right? I thought I'd be able to bang mine out, but my thoughts on Angels are pretty complex (this show means a whole to me) it took me awhile to put them together. It was actually pretty cathartic for me to write!

They have posted a few more in the past couple of weeks, including one from a high school student. I hope they post mine! Loved the one from Wendell Harrington. They are all really moving to read.

At first, I thought this was like a review thread and got all ready to soap box.
But, this is wonderful! I might try to write something to.

They just posted something from Frank Wood (whose performance in Side Man I will never, ever forget). I'm loving these posts! (Even though they haven't put mine up yet!)
