Why don't you come and replace Kathy? You seem so critical, why not come and sing the role of Eva for 2.5 hours at least 6 times a week, and let people throw criticism your way. Kathy is amazing onstage and off.

YEah, I Loved the show, And I dont know about you, but Kathy as AMAZING. I though she had all the "Star Quality" that she needed. The she was just awesome and I met them afterwards. They were all really nice. Especally Kate... I was a little suprised about how short she is... Well, standing next to me (I'm 6'4)

nycdncr, I'm sure Kathy is a lovely person, but I was commenting about her performance. The night I saw her, she was less than stellar and I know a lot of people agree with that. Maybe she was having a bad night. I agree, it's a difficult role, and I wouldn't attempt it myself.

I did a workshop for the upcoming broadway show (we hope) of Rasputin and Bradley Dean played our Prince Yusopov with Ted Neeley as Rasputin.

I agree, that BD is so amazing I can barely stand it. Not the nicest of guys, but certainly one of the most talented I have had the pleasure of working with.

Years ago, I did Evita and Jason Daniely was our Che and he was SPECTACULAR. Stole the show away from our Eva played by Jessica Frankel.

Now, Jason Daniely is the kindest and most delightful person. I just love him.

I love Evita. Maybe I will be able to catch it.

nycdncr..

Is that you in your avatar?

I ask that because I did the National Tour of "Joseph" and the guy in that picture is wearing our unitard and our "One More Angel in Heaven" costume.

Did you tour with the show as well?

ooooh. Bradley Dean. I saw him go on for Stokes in Man of La Mancha, and even given my HUGE disappointment, I enjoyed him a lot.

No, I meant my disappointment in the fact that I was missing Brian Stokes Mitchell. Those are really tough shoes to step into, but I was saying that Bradley did a very commendable job, and that I liked him a lot. Hence the "I enjoyed him a lot" part of my post.

Em, he was phenomanal as Che! I'm not so sure Raul Esparza could have done it any better himself. And coming from me, that's saying a lot.
