In San Fransisco, "Making Good" was the first song Elph. sang, but SS decided to change it. I really dont think they would make sheet music for it tho....sorry.

ok thanks guys for the help. it was just because I wanted to use it as a try-out song and the teacher said she NEEDS the sheet music for it. I guess I'm stuck with happy B-day...:'(

Making Good was NEVER in the SF production. It was a song used in workshops. Wizard and I replaced it PRIOR to the SF Run. Wizard and I was sung by Elphaba in the original SF Production

You are correct, Theaterguy. It wasn't even in the SF production.

Idina'sBiggestFan-- Good luck with finding a song. But honestly, why would you want to do 'Making Good' for a Try-Out piece?! They cut that song from the production for a reason and the sheet music has never been made, to buy from the public, for a reason. (Obviously, it wasn't given a good reaction from the workshops.) So, why narrow your two choices of try-out pieces to: a half-written, cut song from an over-done show...or Happy Birthday? Again, I'm not getting onto you, I'm just curious. Good luck with your tryouts.

There are many great songs for a woman to audition with. Look elsewhere than your favorite show. Look at older shows and off-broadway too.

and however over used, ask around, and if no one is using this one "On MY Own" has nice range for a 12 year old
